As the exhibits change from year to year, so do the days the museum is open to the public. We are closed in between exhibits to accommodate the taking down and installation of each exhibit. In 2017, our hours of operation are:

The Museum of Idaho is located in Idaho Falls and is a perfect stop on the way to Yellowstone National Park, Teton National Park, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Craters of the Moon National Monument.
From I-15: Take exit 118. Head east on Broadway. Cross railroad tracks. It will be right in front of you on the corner of Eastern Avenue and Elm Street.
From Highway 26: Continue on Highway 26 until you reach Idaho Falls. It will turn into Yellowstone Avenue. Make a left onto Elm St. Cross railroad tracks. It will be right in front of you on the corner of Eastern Avenue and Elm Street.
From Highway 20: Take Exit 310 (Lewisville) and make a left off the ramp. At the 3rd light (Northgate Mile) make a right. Make a left at the 7th light. It will be on the left.
