Mon-Sat: 10am – 6pm
Sun: 1pm – 5pm
Holiday hours: MOI will be closed on Christmas Day, and will close at 4pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. All other days — including New Year’s Day — are regular hours.

Idaho resident discount: Gem Staters get an additional $2 off entry (you’ll show your Idaho ID upon entry to the museum.)

A unique visit each time
Even if you don’t catch a scheduled program while you’re here, there are numerous ways to enhance your visit — at no cost — through pop-in experiences and online resources you can access on site, at home, or in the classroom.
What a true treat stopping at this museum was … It was a trip well worth it, in my opinion, and I would go back again. There’s quite a bit to see.
