    Who can come?

MOI trips are designed for travelers ages 14 and up. Some restrictions on activities and additional travel documents may apply for minors. Trips do not require peak physical condition, but travelers must be able to traverse uneven terrain steadily and operate a smartphone confidently in order to maintain communication with trip leaders. We are happy to accommodate any necessary dietary restrictions.

    Rates and cancellation

The Museum of Idaho works to keep travel rates lower than similar adventures in accordance with MOI’s nonprofit mission to bring Idaho to the world and make world-class experiences as accessible as possible.

Your deposit (step 1) serves as a tax-deductible contribution to the museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This is refundable only in the event that the entire trip is cancelled by MOI. Cancellation and refunds of remaining balances (step 2) are subject to policies and schedules laid out through our travel partners, Kimkim and Ujuzi African Travel.
