August 18 - Dr. Randii Wessen
Lead Study Architect for JPL’s Innovation Foundry’s A-Team
Topic: NASA Missions: Future Concepts for Exploration
Film: Apollo 13
Dr. Wessen is part of a team of scientists and engineers tasked to generate ideas for future NASA missions. He has worked in many branches of JPL, including on the Navigator program, which searches for Earth-like planets around other stars.


August 19 - Dr. James Green
Director, Planetary Science Division, NASA
Topic: The Martian: Science Fiction and Science Fact
Film: The Martian
Dr. Green heads the NASA directorate responsible for exploring our solar system and beyond. He has overseen several missions, including sending probes to Mercury, Jupiter, and Pluto, and landing the Curiosity rover on Mars.


August 20 - Dr. Carter Emmart
Director of Astrovisuallization at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH)
Topic: The Biggest Picture, So Far...
Film: Contact
Emmart works with scientists, programmers, and artists to produce scientifically accurate and visually stunning space shows for AMNH’s Hayden Planetarium, as well as products such as a 3D atlas of the universe.
