Astronomy 2021

July 7-8  | 1 credit

Class Registration Scholarship thanks to a generous grant from Cross Charitable Trust

$60 CEU fee through Boise State University (optional and credit registration available on first day of class)

From the solar system to deep space objects, eastern Idaho lends itself well to the study of astronomical phenomena. In this class, we will study and observe the moon, stars, and planets and provide a wealth of resources and activities that can be adapted to any grade level. We’ll take a multidisciplinary approach as we weave English, history, sociology, math, and art throughout this scientific course.  Course Syllabus coming soon!

All camps are intentionally kept to only 10 participants each, and proper precautions such as masking and distancing will be followed, per CDC recommendations at the time of each camp.  Also, you will be asked to drive your own vehicle. Transportation will not be provided by the Museum of Idaho, but clear directions will be provided to you for any off campus destinations.
