July 15th-16th, 9am- OVERNIGHT-7pm (3-4 people will stay together in loft cabins at the Teton Valley Resort)
Grand Teton Geology Course Objectives:
- Educators will learn about the basic geological processes that occur within the Earth.
- Educators will explore Grand Teton specific geology to learn more about what makes them unique.
- Educators will explore how place-based learning can provide their students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences.
- Educators will learn appropriate field techniques in the context of geology.
- Educators will create a plan to implement what they learned in their own teaching contexts.
