Genghis Khan

Step into the kingdom of the conqueror

Washington Post historians called Genghis Khan the single most influential person of the last millennium -– both for his bloody conquest of history’s largest land empire, as well as the lasting cultural and scientific advances he spread. MOI invites you to view 13th-century swords and jewelry, step into domestic yurt life, and enjoy daily live performances of traditional Mongolian music.

This exhibit is open now through September 5, 2022.

Such an amazing cultural learning experience. The Mongolian singers are amazing! ❤️❤️❤️
