Museum Club presentation with Sue Miller, archaeologist

Susanne Miller, a Midwestern native with a love for the outdoors, pursued her passion for biology and chemistry in college. After graduate school in biology at the University of Utah, where she discovered her fascination with osteology, Susanne found her way to Idaho. Completing her Master’s Degree at Idaho State University, she immersed herself in anthropology and archaeology, specializing in the study of bones and taphonomy. With a background in cultural resource management at the Idaho National Laboratory and extensive fieldwork experience, Susanne’s expertise spans from Ice Age mammals to human osteology and forensics. She has participated in excavations and analyses across Idaho, Nevada, the Dakotas, Norway, and Wales, leaving a mark on the field of archaeology.
