Guided Tour: 75th Anniversary of EBR-I

Step into 75 years of history at the birthplace of nuclear power in the United States

Commemorate the 75th anniversary of Experimental Breeder Reactor I (EBR-I) with the Museum of Idaho and Idaho National Laboratory on a rare, never-before-seen history tour of this groundbreaking site.

Begin at the Critical Materials and Energy Systems Innovation Center in Idaho Falls with a Museum of Idaho-led introduction to EBR-I and early nuclear science, then travel by bus to the reactor with a narrated historical drive. At EBR-I, an INL guide will lead an exclusive tour of the facility and share the stories of the scientists, discoveries, and events that shaped Idaho’s nuclear history.
