Please note: This is a presentation on behalf of Idaho Falls Bridge Builders, a nonprofit who assists legal refugees with integrating into the community. This event is not an open discussion on immigration policy in the US. 

About the speaker: Joe Mitchell is an Idaho lifer; born in St. Maries, raised on the Coeur D Alene Indian Reservation, educated at the University of Idaho, and living in Idaho Falls since 1987. He is a licensed engineer who retired as VP of Walsh Engineering three years ago. He has started two successful nonprofits and is currently the president of the Idaho Falls Bridge Builders. He has published three books: one about life on the Reservation, one about life in China, and one children’s book. He has been married to Kim for 36 years. They have two adult children and one granddaughter.
