Join us for a slightly irreverent tour through the Museum of Idaho’s collection of weird, dead things. Ever wanted to see a mummified turtle? We got you. Ever wanted to touch a sheep’s brain? Done. We’ll explore things that we don’t usually put on display…for reasons that will become obvious to you. Then, in our new exhibit Mummies of the World, we’ll explore our fascination with mummies—both human and animal—and talk about the weird things people in the Victorian age thought were normal.
