Your 2024 camp lineup:

3, 2, 1, Lift Off!  (July 1-2  |  1 credit  |  $30  |  Syllabus)

Educators will:

• learn about basic STEM connections in the study of astronomy
• explore how place-based learning can provide their students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences
• learn appropriate field techniques in the context of astronomy
• create a plan to implement what they learned in their own teaching contexts

Expedition Yellowstone  (July 8-9  |  2 credits  |  $50  |  Syllabus)

Educators will:

• learn about basic ecological processes and scientific data collection
• explore East Idaho’s specific wilderness and natural and cultural resources to learn more about what makes Yellowstone unique
• explore how place-based learning can provide their students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences
• learn appropriate field techniques in the context of ecology
• create a plan to implement what they learned in their own teaching contexts

Grand Teton Geology  (July 15-16 overnight |  2 credits  |  $50  |  Syllabus)

Educators will:

• learn about basic geological processes that occur within the Earth
• explore Grand Teton-specific geology to learn more about what makes those mountains unique
• explore how place-based learning can provide their students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences
• learn appropriate field techniques in the context of geology
• create a plan to implement what they learned in their own teaching contexts

Wasden Archaeology  (July 18-19  |  1 credit  |  $35  |  Syllabus)

Educators will:

• learn about basic archaeological processes and scientific data collection
• explore Idaho’s archaeological resources to learn more about what makes Idaho unique
• explore how place-based learning can provide their students with relevant and meaningful learning experiences
• learn appropriate field techniques in the context of archaeology
• create a plan to implement what they learned in their own teaching contexts

Harriman Adventure  (July 22-25 overnight  |  3 credits  |  $75  |  Syllabus)

Educators will:
