Bringing the world to Idaho, and Idaho to the world

The Museum of Idaho engages, educates, and enlightens through exhibits, collections, and informal educational opportunities in the humanities and sciences.

Me Time @ the Museum

What would you do if you had the museum all to yourself? Let's find out.

With the new state COVID order, visiting MOI is now by appointment only. The silver lining: you can book the Darwin & Dinosaurs exhibit and the Marie Putnam Discovery Room and make it an hour-long private affair for up to 10 people.

MOI's acclaimed exhibits and collections allow you to immerse yourself in the humanities and sciences. Check out hours and admission rates.

Volunteer @ MOI

Day-to-day operations at the museum would be impossible with out our army of talented volunteers. We welcome adults to help us lead tours, work in the museum store, and more. With a variety of available jobs and schedules, volunteering at the Museum of Idaho is a simple, fun, and fulfilling way to give back.
