Bringing the world to Idaho, and Idaho to the world

The Museum of Idaho engages, educates, and enlightens through exhibits, collections, and informal educational opportunities in the humanities and sciences.

COVID-19 update

The museum is closed through at least April 5 to help contain the spread of COVID-19 in our communities. Museum programs and events have also been cancelled. We will continue to follow guidance from public health officials in assessing when to re-open. MOI staff members are working remotely during the closure (view the staff e-mail list). We encourage all to practice CDC-recommended hygiene and social distance measures. Stay healthy and we'll see you back here soon.

With a variety of available jobs and schedules, volunteering at the Museum of Idaho is a simple, fun, and fulfilling way to give back.
